The Linalotha race is the original population of Aldur VII. They possessed a complex culture and very advanced technology, mostly based on the Vondrak ruins. Sadly, little of the original civilization is left after the great war erupted on Aldur VII following the arrival of the first human expeditions. The Linalotha were more advanced, but the numbers were against them. After the first two years of war, suffering heavy losses, the remnants of the race decided to employ guerrilla tactics in hoping to achieve better results, but in the end they just delayed the inevitable: after ten years, the Linalotha were defeated and subjected to various form of slavery. However, that didn’t last for long. Anti-slavery movements, after various attempts, managed to improve the conditions of the former inhabitants of Aldur.
The Cataclysm threw Aldur in a state of turmoil, and that didn’t spare the Linalotha. The overall worsening of the situation made them easy targets to shift the blame and as the years passed, a resurgence in superstition made them primary targets. Most of them were slain and even Webbergast’s intervention couldn’t stop the killings. It is theorized that, of the original population of over three billion Linalotha, only a few thousands exist today.
