Break from the hiatus, new snapshot

After a long hiatus, mainly due to personal commitments, I have updated Broken Destiny again. Hopefully with the holidays approaching in approximately a month, I should have more time to write and update more frequently. Also, Bokuman is creating artwork at a fast rate, so watch this space for future updates.

Changes in this version (2010-06-27):

Additions to chapter 4
Adjustments of some sentences that looked off
Alteration of Lia’s description to match the new artwork by Bokuman

Another gallery update

Shortly after the last post, Bokuman provided us with more of his excellent artwork, delivering two pictures of the first chapters of Broken Destiny.

The first one is Jennifer, as it appears in the Prologue.

The second one is taken from the second chapter, when Jennifer reflects on what is happening around her. The Gallery has been updated accordingly. Of course, more artwork is on the way in the following weeks, keep checking the site for the latest info.

After a month of silence, we present the latest version of Broken Destiny, that concludes Chapter 3 at last. Things should be moving smoothly now, hopefully. You can grab it at the Novel page. But thats’ not all: Bokuman provided us with more artworks!

The first picture is Ellen, as redesigned by Bokuman. Her character page has been updated as well.

The second picture features Lia, showing her battle prowess.

And the last one shows Jennifer mid-changing into her armor form.

More artwork is heading this way, so keep following us!

To complement the recent update, here are some more works by Bokuman.

The first picture is a re-imagining of Ellen, to make her fit better in the story:

Further Broken Destiny progress

Hello everyone!

I have uploaded yet one more update to Broken Destiny today. This one further extends the storyline of chapter 3, and starts the interplay among the new characters introduced with past updates. I’m surprised that compared to The S.T.E.A.L. Saga this is getting much longer than anticipated: 20 pages for chapter 3 and I’m just halfway through it… Up to you to find out if it’s good or not!

Broken Destiny progress

Some more time, and more progress on Broken Destiny. While this update doesn’t bring much on the department of writing, it includes brand-new artwork by Bokuman (more details in a forthcoming, separate post). Despite the little advancement, a lot of work went into this release, so if you ever have any comment, let me know.

Broken Destiny (belated) update

Hello! Today I’d like to present a new Broken Destiny update. The "belated" in the title is because I’ve been working for a while on the novel, but I always forgot to publish here… Right now I have completed chapter 2 and I’m already into the third chapter: what I noticed is that the chapters are getting way much longer than with The S.T.E.A.L. Saga. This doesn’t excuse me from not publishing new material when I have it, of course…

Speaking of new material, this update brings new artwork in the PDF, namely a picture from our new artist, Bokuman. Take a look: it’s nothing short of amazing.
