The Vondrak Chronicles

As you may have noticed, there’s a new theme on this web page. I had to change it when the theme author decided it was a good idea to have people pay to remove links on the bottom of the page. Since I’m not too fond of such practices, I decided to show my support for another theme, the one you see on this page.

All the links and pages should be behaving properly. If you find errors, please report them in the comments.

The Universe section is now open, although with just one category for now. Here you will find information about the background of the Vondrak Chronicles. Of course, comments are welcome to improve the section and to provide additional content.

While we’re still working to complete The S.T.E.A.L. Saga final book, and despite the lack of proper updates, the work on The Vondrak Chronicles is still going along pretty well. And as of today, I can finally show the first images Too created for the first book, Broken Destiny.

As some of you know, The S.T.E.A.L. Saga was entirely licensed under a Creative Commons License, including the artwork. My idea was that it would be unfair to show the progress as I wrote the novels, only to withdraw them when completed and require payment to see the final version. In the end I think I did the right choice, but there were some matters that I didn’t quite take into consideration.

I finally had time to update the page, so the Profiles page is finally up, though the actual layout isn’t the definitive one, and it’ll probably be subject to some modifications over the course of the year. You can check the page here or by clicking the link in the menu.
The profile page images follow a new image policy that will be posted in the near future.

As you can see from my brother’s post, the web page of The Vondrak Chronicles has been set up. The functionality right now is quite basic (and the layout is still missing some pieces), but we expect to fill in the gaps rather quickly. Don’t hesitate to report bugs or breakage by commenting to this post.

Welcome to the website of The Vondrak Crhonicles, the new series of novels created by the same creative team that created The S.T.E.A.L. Saga . This time, we chose for a more science fiction setting. While I do not want to spoil anything at this point, the Vondrak name has a double meaning that will become clear in the near future. Too returns as the series illustrator, like he did with The S.T.E.A.L. Saga. Currently, writing is expected to begin around Q3 2008, after the completion of The Path to the Light. So fasten your seatbelts and prepare for Warp…It’ll be an interesting journey.
